The Rowdy Cowgirl Line of jewelry is designed and manufactured exclusively at Brady’s Jewelry. Jeff Brady is the designer of the leather pieces and Alicia, his wife, is the designer of the beaded work. The leather and turquoise pieces are the flag ship of the Rowdy Cowgirl Line, following a trip to Tucson Gem Show, Jeff says, “ I saw so many beautiful big pieces of turquoise at that show I just loved them, I also knew that having been a bench jeweler for over 30 years it would cost a fortune to wrap these pieces in either silver or gold, besides after 30 years of working in the precious metal medium I was just tired of it, it all got to looking the same, no mater what I did. I have a good friend who is in the leather business who manufactures high end hand bags, belts, shoes, ect. www.arhoe.com This gave me the idea to incorporate leather with these beautiful pieces of turquoise, creating an exciting, totally different look then anything else on the market. I loved my new found medium of leather, it feels soooo good to the skin and it’s decidedly western in appeal. Even my first attempts were well received an it became obvious we would need a name for this exciting new line. My wife came up with the name The Rowdy Cowgirl (she can be one at times) and I liked it.”

We are just country folks, we live in a small town of 2,000 people, but classic designs do not have to come from New York or Paris, and jewelry doesn’t have to cost a fortune to look good and different, by using leather I’ve been able to produce these works at practically costume jewelry prices. I sign my pieces on the back with a signature stone (my choice) sometimes turquoise, sometimes crystals. Try a piece or two and see how good you look with your boots and custom made jewelry. I know you’ll get lots of compliments. That’s the story of the Rowdy Cowgirl Line of jewelry.
